How Great Northern Casino Rewards Work
Filed by the 107 Avenue deskChecked October 4, 2026
Great Northern Casino uses Winner's Edge, the province-wide loyalty card run by AGLC. The steps below show how the card works at 10910 107 Avenue.
How the card works
Can I get the card?
Winner's Edge · AGLC
Card holders must be 18 or older and collect the card with government ID from Guest Services. Self-excluded people are not eligible.
Winner's Edge is free. Sign-up is possible at Guest Services, at a kiosk or online. Guest Services hands out the card itself on presentation of government ID. Members must be 18 or older, the same age required to enter any gaming facility in Alberta. The casino links to the program from its website; its own VIP CLUB is an email newsletter, not a players club.
Points build up on slots and electronic table games. They can be redeemed for play credit or for contest ballots. Members also save 10% on select food and on non-alcoholic drinks at Alberta casinos. The card is used at many Alberta casinos, and Great Northern Casino is one of them.
Limits on the card
Spending limits, time limits and alerts can be set by members with GameSense My Activity and Budgeting Tools. Those tools are available online and at any Alberta casino's Winner's Edge kiosk. A Responsible Gambling Info Centre representative is on site at Great Northern Casino.
People enrolled in AGLC's Self-Exclusion Program cannot become Winner's Edge members. Enrolment in that program is online only, at selfexclusion.ca. The choice is racing entertainment centres and Alberta casinos, regulated online gaming, or both. Six-month, one-year, two-year and three-year terms all start immediately, and none can be cancelled early.
About the VIP CLUB name
The VIP CLUB on Great Northern Casino's website is an email newsletter. It is not a players club, despite the name. The card is Winner's Edge, AGLC's province-wide loyalty program. Points, the 10% discount on select food and non-alcoholic drinks, and the GameSense limit tools all belong to that card.
- Winner's Edge is run by AGLC across Alberta, not by Great Northern Casino.
- Winner's Edge is closed to anyone enrolled in self-exclusion.
